Project No:
A complex analysis of the physical and chemical processes taking place in the hybrid-fiber reinforced high performance cement-based composites due to the high-temperature loading up to 1200°C is the main subject of the project. A combination of material characterization procedures, advanced techniques for the investigation of material parameters during a high-temperature exposure and specific methods for an assessment of residual properties after high-temperature loading is the basic concept of project solution. The analysis begins with the material characterization when the basic physical and chemical deterioration processes are specified in detail. Then, the mechanical and thermal properties of selected hardened composite mixes are studied in the conditions of high-temperature load. After that, the residual mechanical, hygric and thermal properties are determined. Finally, the variations of the identified apparent and residual parameters are linked to the changes in structure and composition found at the characterization process.
