We have welcomed three Taiwanese colleagues from National Ilan University as part of 2- and 3-month internships, with whom we will work on the design of new types of geopolymers for self-heating and self-sensing applications.
On July 7th and 8th, we participated in the kick-off meeting of the international M-ERA.net project GEOSUMAT dealing with Materials for Circular Economy: Industrial Waste Based Geopolymer Composites with Hybrid Reinforcement.
Department of Materials Engineering and Chemistry cooperates with the Department of Building Materials Engineering, Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Opole University of Technology, Poland in the field of research focused on the design of high-performance concrete.
