Info about the laboratory
Electrical and acoustical research laboratory (D-s162) is used for determination of electrical and acoustical properties of building materials and structural elements. Electrical measurements are aimed at determination of DC/AC electrical properties of building materials in 2-probe and 4-probe regime, determination of surface and volumetric resistivity and determination of self-heating ability of materials by means of self-heating experiments. Acoustical measurements are aimed at determination of acoustical properties of building materials by means of reverberation chambers and pulse method based on analysis of data collected on accelerometers after exciting samples by a defined acoustic signal.
