Info about the laboratory
The high temperature laboratory is focused on determination of thermal parameters of building materials exposed to extreme temperatures up to 1800 °C. The apparent thermal conductivity along with the specific heat capacity (non-adiabatic method) are the most important parameters determined as a function of temperature up to 1000 °C. The laboratory also enables measurements of thermal dilatometry and coefficient of thermal expansion of building materials at elevated temperatures up 1100 °C.
