Group characteristics
The group is focused on the detailed study of traditional and advanced materials based on calcium sulfate. The behavior and structure of the calcium sulfate based materials are studied and tested e.g. under the conditions of higher moisture and high temperatures. The obtained knowledge serves as a base for the design of new materials (e.g. ternary binders) with better properties to enable the larger utilization of such environmentally friendly material.
