The laboratory for materials characterization is focused on determination of complex properties of building materials. The special attention is paid to physical and microstructural properties of building materials, such as basic physical properties, moisture properties, thermal properties and mechanical properties. The development of porous system, mineral composition and the relationships between all related parameters are studied.
